Approved EMDR Training

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a clinically-proven evidence-based psychological therapy. It is especially effective in the treatment of both PTSD and phantom limb pain and has been endorsed by numerous international organizations and government bodies.

Training in EMDR is offered through the British Columbia School of Professional Psychology (BCSPP), an approved EMDRIA training site. Marshall Wilensky (PhD), Alivia Maric (PhD), and Eve Wilensky (MA) teach the current recommended curriculum, which provides a thorough grounding in the use of this therapeutic approach. Though the BCSPP is based in Vancouver BC, trainings have been offered throughout British Columbia, and in Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Yukon, Idaho, and Washington.
